On Thursday, November 14th members of the Junior Auxiliary of Russellville hosted a Literacy Night at the ARVAC Head Start Center. Each child got to take home their own copy of the book "If You Give a Mouse a Brownie" along with a goodie bag.
The JA also provided a craft project to go with the book and friends Dora the Explorer, Doc McStuffins, and The Cat in The Hat were there to read to the children. Child Literacy Night teaches the children the importance of reading through story time, crafts, and of course a snack.
