At ARVAC, we welcome any and all volunteers. Volunteerism opens the door to increased social networks, leadership skills, employability skills, community health building, and civic engagement, leading to further opportunities for community involvement, economic opportunity, etc.
Those who want to volunteer will be helping out at the ARVAC Food Bank, offices and commodity distribution sites, or wherever needed. Volunteers are typically needed on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings before noon. We require that volunteers wear tennis shoes or boots (no open toe shoes).
Thanks to the support of our volunteers, ARVAC is able to serve thousands of low-income families each year. For more information about becoming a volunteer with ARVAC, please email
